PVC Wire Overview:

PVC Wire (or PVC coated wire), is also known as plastic coated iron wire. It is mainly made from high-quality galvanized wire and PE or PVC materials, and sometimes certain auxiliary materials which are anti-ultraviolet and anti-aging will be added. Through deep processing, the plastic and the galvanized iron wire are firmly combined together. Owing to such special technical process and the use of quality raw materials, the PVC wire has superior performance characteristics, such as anti-aging, anti-cracking, corrosion resistance, strong adhesion, good flexibility, long service life and so on. In addition, a variety of colors are available, such as dark green, black, white, blue, green and so on. PVC wire has a wide range of application in various sectors and fields, including in animal breeding, forestry protection, aquaculture, park and zoo fence, and stadium, etc.

PVC Coating
In order to strengthen the flexibility and improve the property of the products, the processing method of PVC coating or plastic coating is often applied in treatment of many types of wire products and wire mesh. Plastic coated iron wire, also called PVC wire, can be made with iron wire, stainless steel wire, aluminum wire or galvanized wire coated with PVC layer. The plastic and galvanized iron wire can be firmly combined through the treatment of deep processing. In comparison with the common galvanized iron wire (either electro galvanized or hot-dipped  galvanized), this process brings anti-aging, corrosion resistance and anti-cracking features to the wire and at the same time ensures a longer service life of the wire. Before coating, the sizes of the wire can reach up to 0.25-0.5.0mm; and after being coated with a PVC layer, the wire's sizes can range from 0.45mm to 5.5mm. In addition, in accordance with the customers’ specific requirements, different sizes and colors of plastic coated wire can be customized.
